The next stage of Rentokil Initial’s global web strategy became reality today with the launch of The new global hub, which ensures two-click access to the right service in the right country for Initial’s customers and prospects, is an important step towards providing the multi-service brand with a world class online facility.

The new online hub will ensure that essential information about Initial’s services – available in 38 countries worldwide – is accessible in real-time and with local language options wherever they are required. The hub provides details of available services, contact information, news and click-throughs to a worldwide network of local sites. Over the next few months, a new site for each country will be launched reflecting the new contemporary feel of with its bold, clean imagery and emphasis on customer service.

The first new site goes live today for customers in the UK of Initial Cleaning & Facilities Services. Multiple interactive features include a login for Clean-net, a real-time performance management extranet which supports many of the company’s customers, and instant quotations for many of the Facilities Services’ services. Sites for the German Textiles and Washrooms businesses are next to launch in early November.

Development of is a further landmark in the company’s overall global online programme - one of the largest business to business web development projects in the world. Earlier this year the first stage, to support the company’s pest control services, was launched with the development of the global hub. Between the two brands, almost 100 new sites will launch over the next 9 months to support customers locally.
